Flagler Soccer 7v7 Adult Rules

/ General Team Rules
- 18+ on game day
- IDs/licenses required at first check-in
- Must be registered and paid to be eligible
- Ineligible player on the field = forfeit (0-3 loss)
- No playing on 2 teams in the same division
- Transfers allowed before game 7
- Playoff-eligible players must have played 2+ regular-season games
- Yellow card = 2 minutes off
- 2 yellows = red
- Red card = next-game suspension + possible further discipline
- Fighting = season ban or longer
- Teams control their fans
- No alcohol at the field
- Minimize swearing
- League may suspend for violent conduct/abuse/instigation regardless of a referee card
- Matching jerseys required (home changes on clash; pinnies OK)
- Shin guards required
- No jewelry except medical bracelets
- Unlimited on-the-fly subs at midfield
- No slide tackles except keeper in box or to save a goal with no contact (else direct free kick / PK, possible card)
- 10-goal mercy cap
- Individual goals capped at 6/game
- Non-compliance may mean suspension/DQ
- Play for fun
/ Captains
- Keep rosters accurate to avoid forfeits
- Captains are notified of cancellations and must inform their team
- Keep players respectful and de-escalate
- Pick up trash
- Help move goals
/ Miscellaneous / Game Format
- 28-minute halves, 4-minute halftime
- 7v7 = 6 outfield + 1 keeper
- Goal kicks from inside the box on the goal line
- FIFA rules for kicks/cards
- PKs 8 yards out center
- Opponents 5 yards off on free kicks
- No punting/drop kicks (keeper places ball to kick)
- Minimum 5 players (else forfeit at 10 min past kickoff)
- No offsides
- Kick-ins instead of throw-ins (indirect, no direct goal)
- Field marshal controls weather delays/cancellations
- Game complete at halftime if called early (playoffs add two 5-min halves, then PKs)
- Field 40x60 yards
- Box 12 yards from each post, 12 deep
- Penalty mark 10 yards out
- Number 5 ball
- Goals 6.5 ft x 18.5 ft
/ Start Times & Grace Period
- Games start at their scheduled time
- 10-minute grace period, nothing more — kickoff happens no later than 10 minutes after the scheduled time, clock running either way
- If your team is not complete or fully rostered at kickoff, you may choose to play shorthanded or take the forfeit
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and warm up
- Fewer than 5 players at 10 minutes past the scheduled time = forfeit
